Monday, April 16. ACL surgery scheduled.
One day after the tax-man cometh, the axe-man cometh.
Doc said the best thing I can do now is build up the strength & flexibility in my leg before the surgery to avoid atrophy and reduce recovery time.
He also said I’d be jogging 2.5 to 3 months after surgery. Jogging by Independence Day. 🙂
We could send over a wind band on the 4th (the sax-man cometh), and repair your facsimile machine (the fax-man), and a guy to play with your kids on the sidewalk (the jacks-man), and a tv evangelist (the Pax-man), someone to shine your car (the wax-man), maybe a guy with two oxen like animals (the yaks-man), they could wrestle that huge guy (the MAX-man), and the guy from the railroad (the tracks-man). I’ll be there with dress pants one (the slacks-man). 😉
Oh man! God Bless you. That seems like a long time to wait for the surgery. He must be a good doctor. You know what they say – never go to a doctor who can get you in right away. I pray for your speedy recover.
The reason the date is out so far is that I have a couple excursions coming up. Then Easter. Then I’d like to kick off our marriage and dating series following Easter.
