I’m on my "study Thursday," looking out the window of an area coffee shop, and enjoying the beauty of the falling snow.
Wow, God. You’ve created some beautiful things in this world. And this scene is one of them.
In a matter of minutes, the large, soft flakes have covered the ground with a clean blanket of pure white. I don’t see the ground or dirt anymore. Just a bright, clean covering of white.
Reminds me that:
- Snow is a treasure (Job 38:22)
- Snow pictures the purity of Jesus Christ (Revelation 1:14)
- Snow pictures cleansing (Job 9:30)
- Snow pictures how we are washed from our sins (Isaiah 1:18)
With the snowfall, all people can see is the pure, clean, white covering.
Thank you, God.
Thanks for the wonderful reminder Tim! It was great to see you Saturday; you did a wonderful job on the funeral for Judith; she would have been pleased!
