Quick update on the rehab progress for my right knee.
I just passed the 1-month mark since my ACL replacement surgery. But on Tuesday afternoon, I experienced a little setback with my knee.
I was doing toe presses on my home gym and my right foot slipped off the foot plate. Instinctively I tried to stop my leg from falling and…wow…did my patellar tendon experience some pain (an area which was not affected by my injury nor by surgery!).
Anyway, it’s causing a little setback in the rehab process. So I’m trying to do more resting than rehabbing (exercising the leg) for at least a week.
If you think about it, I’d appreciate a prayer. But, as I was reminded in my daily reading this morning, sometimes its actually better for you to be weaker.
Sorry to hear about the setback. I’ll pump up the prayers. Hang in there.
Bummer for the setback…but it sounds like a little rest(and that awesome ice pack)will have you back on track in no time!! From the sounds of things you were doing great…praying for you!
