Want to read the Bible with me today? http://www.timhowey.com/2016/01/my-bible-reading-2016.html
First, ask God to see something you can apply to your life.
Then, read Psalm 77.
Then, write down something you can apply to your life.
Then, read what I wrote:
- Historical — Asaph writes a psalm unpacking his anguish in a difficult season, his struggle to believe God was still there for him, and his intentional decision to remember and consider who God is and what God has done in the past.
- Doctrinal — God is still the God who does wonders (see verses 11-13) even when you find yourself questioning God (see verses 7-9).
- Inspirational — I need to keeping remembering who God is and what God has done in the past when I am troubled, overwhelmed, I can’t sleep, and I can’t even speak (see verses 3-4).
