Want to read the Bible with me today? http://www.timhowey.com/2016/01/my-bible-reading-2016.html
First, ask God to see something you can apply to your life.
Then, read Luke 15.
Then, write down something you can apply to your life.
Then, read what I wrote:
- Historical — After Jesus was criticized for the type of people he was spending time with (i.e. the socially unacceptable crowd), he told the parables of the lost sheep (1 of 100), the lost coin (1 of 10), and the lost son (1 of 2).
- Doctrinal — God is always, always ready for someone to return to Him. It’s never too late with God.
- Inspirational — Like Jesus in verse 2, I need to be prepared to be criticized for who I am hanging out with, especially if it’s with people that the religious establishment vehemently disagrees with.
