Want to read the Bible with me today? http://www.timhowey.com/2016/01/my-bible-reading-2016.html
First, ask God to see something you can apply to your life.
Then, read Joshua 4.
Then, write down something you can apply to your life.
Then, read what I wrote:
- Historical — The Lord tells Joshua to create two piles of memorial stones to remember Israel’s crossing of the Jordan River.
- Doctrinal — God wants us to create markers and memories of his work in our lives for the next generation (verse 21).
- Inspirational — May my kids ask me about God’s work in my life and may I know how to answer (verse 21).
