Want to read the Bible with me today? http://www.timhowey.com/2016/01/my-bible-reading-2016.html
First, ask God to see something you can apply to your life.
Then, read Exodus 38.
Then, write down something you can apply to your life.
Then, read what I wrote:
- Historical — Bezalel builds the bronze sacrificial altar, bronze laver, and curtains to hang for a fence around the Tabernacle, while Moses inventories all the materials given to build the Tabernacle.
- Doctrinal — The reason God gives commandments to people is to help them relate to Him (verse 22).
- Inspirational — God will sometimes ask us (me) to give up things/self in order to accomplish His purposes for others (i.e. people’s mirrors given away and made into washing lavers in verse 8).
