Want to read the Bible with me today? http://www.timhowey.com/2016/01/my-bible-reading-2016.html

First, ask God to see something you can apply to your life.

Then, read Exodus 32.

Then, write down something you can apply to your life.

Then, read what I wrote:

 - Historical — Aaron makes a golden calf for Israel to worship when Moses is on Mount Sinai for 40 days.

 - Doctrinal — Although the Lord is really the one who leads through human leaders and the people are always God’s, the Lord does call the people who are under a leader “your” people too (v.7 – And the LORD said to Moses, “Go, get down! For your people whom you brought out of the land of Egypt have corrupted themselves.”).

 - Inspirational — As a leader, I must “restrain” my family, team, staff, and church sometimes (v.25).
