Want to read the Bible with me today? http://www.timhowey.com/2016/01/my-bible-reading-2016.html
First, ask God to see something you can apply to your life.
Then, read Deuteronomy 31.
Then, write down something you can apply to your life.
Then, read what I wrote:
- Historical — In the last month of Israel’s 40-year wandering, Moses encourages Israel and their new leader, Joshua, not to fear because God is leading them into the Promised Land, then God gives Moses a preview of Israel’s future.
- Doctrinal — God designed people to learn to fear God by hearing/reading the Bible on a regular basis (see verses 9-13).
- Inspirational — I have all sorts of fears creep into my heart about people, situations, directions, etc.: I need to have the courage to not take counsel of my fears and trust God will fulfill His promises (see verses 6-8 and 23).
