Want to read the Bible with me today? http://www.timhowey.com/2016/01/my-bible-reading-2016.html

First, ask God to see something you can apply to your life.

Then, read Deuteronomy 1.

Then, write down something you can apply to your life.

Then, read what I wrote:

 - Historical — In the last month of Israel’s 40-year wandering, Moses begins telling the new generation (kids born during their 40 years in the wilderness) Israel’s story: starting with their colossal mistake in Numbers 13-14.

 - Doctrinal — God doesn’t listen to the prayers of someone disregarding what God has clearly told them to do (see verse 45).

 - Inspirational — May I listen more to the promises of God than the complaints and discouragements of those who doubt God (compare verses 27-28 & verse 36).
