Want to read the Bible with me today? http://www.timhowey.com/2016/01/my-bible-reading-2016.html
First, ask God to see something you can apply to your life.
Then, read 2 Kings 15.
Then, write down something you can apply to your life.
Then, read what I wrote:
- Historical — This chapter compares the mess that was the final kings of Israel (culminating in them beefing carried away as slaves in verse 29) with the somewhat better kings of Judah.
- Doctrinal — Everyone’s life is lived “in the sight of the Lord” (see verses 3 and 28): God sees.
- Inspirational — I was struck again reading this chapter that success in life is not judged by numbers or accolades or comfort: true success is pleasing God; the approval of one.
