Want to read the Bible with me today? http://www.timhowey.com/2016/01/my-bible-reading-2016.html
First, ask God to see something you can apply to your life.
Then, read 2 Chronicles 29.
Then, write down something you can apply to your life.
Then, read what I wrote:
- Historical — When Hezekiah became king at 25, he immediately led the Levites to purify themselves before God, then purify the Temple of its idols, then restart proper worship in the Temple: and it was completed in his first 2.5 weeks in office.
- Doctrinal — Read verses 6-10 carefully. Hezekiah owns the sins and consequences of his ancestors against God, and addresses them.
- Inspirational — God? When there are situations to address or people to inspire to do what God’s will, may I have the clarity and courage shown by Hezekiah in verses 3-11.
