I had Bob email me this Bible question from his OWNit365 readings:
"This has always confused me..
"And he said, Who art thou, Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest: it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks." (Acts 9:5 KJV)
What about these "pricks"? What's He talking about?
It's from a Greek word which only appears five times in the New Testament. It could be translated "goad" or "sting". It refers to the prick or sting of an ox goad (i.e. cattle prod).
