A physical therapist in our church was (and continues to be) instrumental in helping me recover after tearing my ACL. God used her to provide wise counsel and an exercise/stretching regimen. Without physical therapy, who knows how far behind I’d be?
Having said that… 🙂
When I recently asked a health care worker (not in our church family) about the level of pain associated with the post-operative rehab, he warned me, "You know what they call physical therapists? Physical terrorists."
Another person in our church family told me about his shoulder surgery rehab. "Tim, at times, I feel as if my physical therapist is trying to pull my arm out of its socket. But it feels so good afterward."
Mmmm. So much to look forward to. Some of you are going to miss out on the good feelings!
