Operation Christmas Child

The deadline is approaching (this Sunday) for a SIMPLE and POWERFUL way to experience a "Servolution" (a "Revolution of Service") in your home…to express the love of Jesus to a child around the world.

And if you have kids, this is a great project to do together as a family (i.e. talk about the need around the world together, read the instructions together, go out shopping together, pack the box together, pray over the box together, and turn it in together)!  Cathy and I are doing this with Jacob & Karina over the next day.

I got this email yesterday from our missions pastor, Brian Gann.

  • "Hello Everyone.  Just a reminder that shoe boxes for Operation Christmas Child are being collected this Sunday, November 16th
Don't miss this wonderful opportunity to be a missionary, and spread
the love of Christ around the globe.  You can change a child's life
forever!  If you need ideas for gifts, instructions on how to pack the boxes, or boy/girl labels you can go to SamaritansPurse.org.  If you have any other questions please contact DeDe Schamberger.  Thank You!  Brian Gann."

So…DON'T FORGET YOUR BOXES Sunday!!!  🙂

P.S. They're also kicking off their 1000-Hours-of-Prayer initiative starting next Monday (Nov 17-24).
