With the town of Greensburg, KS being virtually wiped off the map by a tornado devastation in  (if you haven’t seen the aerial pictures, look here), many have begun to ask, "What can we do?"  Michael Wilson, our Local Outreach Director, has been in contact with a United Methodist Church in Mullinville, KS and offered Grace Church as a collection spot.

We are initially collecting diapers, laundry detergent and new pajamas for children.  Soon, there will be many more needs as the citizens find more permanent housing.  We will keep you posted as the donation list changes.  You may drop off items in the info center located in the church lobby throughout the week.  Please bring them by Friday, May 18 as we’ll be making the delivery on Saturday, May 19.

This natural disaster occurred in KS, right in our backyard.  Please join my family in supporting to this wrecked town.  If you would like to help transport these or future donations, please let Michael Wilson know by clicking on the Contact Us button on this page.   If you choose to contribute financially, please designate "Greensburg" and those monies will be given directly to the Red Cross.

Thank you so much.
