Last Sunday, I talked about the incredibly simple & effective study guide I create for every text I'm going to teach. Whenever I'm studying a passage in detail, I…
- Type it out — Or copy/paste it into a document
- Create a new line every punctuation mark — After every period, comma, semicolon, etc.
- Indent a phrase — If it appears to modify the previous phrase
That’s IT!
Here are the actual study guides I created & used last weekend. Enjoy!
Tim,
Thank you for sharing your study habits. I have been desiring something like that for a while; from anyone. I was so glad to hear you do that. It made me feel good. I’m a reader and writer studying most every day for 2 hours and to see your way is something I’ve desired to know. I will try your way and see how it feels compared to what I’m doing now.
Thanks again. Doug Neyens
Thanks for the credit, Tim. It’s always a good experience for a teacher to see that a student actually learns something and is still doing it years later. Now, I’m learning from you!! Keep up the good work.
